Hibachi Steak

Bring Hibachi night to the station with this easy steak marinade. It also works well for chicken thighs, shrimp, or extra firm tofu to meet all of your crew’s dietary needs.

 

Active Prep Time: 10 minutes

Makes 6 servings

    Ingredients
    • 2-3 lb skirt steak or flank steak
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, minced
    • 3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
    • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
    • 2 Tbsp honey
    • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
    Directions
    1. Combine ingredients in a large ziplock bag. Marinade a lean protein (chicken, shrimp, or lean steak) for 2 hours or overnight.
    2. Flat Top: Heat flat top on medium-high heat. Cut steak into ½-1 inch size cubes. Cook 3-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to the desired internal temperature.
