Honey Ginger Veggies
Replace boring, bland steamed broccoli with this flavorful Asian-inspired marinade. Toss in whatever veggies you have on hand for an easy, healthy side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh broccoli, chopped
- 1 bag shredded carrots
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 3 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- ½ tsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Directions
- Whisk together garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey in a small bowl. Toss veggies in the mixture.
- Flat Top: Cook veggies on medium-high heat for 5–10 minutes, or until softened.
- Oven: Preheat to 400°F. Spread veggies evenly on a baking sheet. Bake for 10–15 minutes or until softened.
