Apple Cinnamon Muffins

Craving apple pie, but need something healthier? These muffins are not only portable but can crush cravings for sweets. Made with Kodiak Cakes for whole grain, high-protein goodness.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Kodiak Cake Pancake mix
  • 1 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 large apple, peeled and diced
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Divide into 12 muffin cups. Sprinkle muffins with a pinch of brown sugar. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
